One of the most interesting printer projects I have seen in quite a while. A portable 3D printer that fits inside a filament box. To top it all off, it prints upside down on a transparent heated bed.
Development is underway for the Positron 2.0 which, the author claims, will be ready for prime time. Many people have requested that the 2.0 version be presented in kit form and the author is considering this.
From the description in the video:
This is a 3D printer unlike another; An upside-down, compact 3D printer that fits inside your bag, So you can bring it anywhere. The printer is also fast and accurate, perfect for making quick prototypes and concepts.
I eagerly await his 2.0 version as it will build upon the many design innovations of the original.
